What People Say
The best way to find out about a career with Aprico is through the words of the people who know us best – the people who work here:

Aligning Business with IT
Before joining Aprico Consultants, I worked as an enterprise Architect for a software development company. My responsibility was to improve the project leading and development processes in partnership with the company’s lines of business. Thanks to those organizational changes, we achieved our main objective, i.e. a better alignment between the Business and IT departments.
As I wanted to share this experience with other companies with similar or even higher ambitions, I decided to join Aprico Consultants, where I found experts in this and complementary domains. We share our experiences through a knowledge base, internal workshops and training seminars.
As an enterprise architect, I work on different projects where the main aim is to align business and IT. I do this through training, working on RFIs and RFPs, and guiding companies that undergo enterprise-level changes.
We hope these profiles give you a little bit of insight into who we are, and what it’s like to work here.

Stepping It Up
I began my career as a Software Engineer at a startup company that specialized in small-to-medium, project-based software solutions. As their first employee, I enjoyed the flat hierarchy that allowed me to organize my own work. This kept me motivated for several years. But I hungered for bigger challenges.
When I was approached by Aprico Consultants, I was immediately attracted by their unique approach. Aprico Consultants has the charm of a small company, but none of its drawbacks. One of the main reasons for my career change was the opportunity to participate in larger projects with corporate clients; Aprico Consultants has a track record of delivering on that promise.
After one year at Aprico Consultants, I am proud to have participated in an interesting long-term project. My skills have improved at a higher rate than ever before, and I just earned my second Microsoft certification. I appreciate my management’s professionalism that allows me to focus on my own development.

Focusing on expertise
More than 10 years ago, I started working in the software change and configuration management domain based on the IBM Rational Tools. More and more I was eager to use my knowledge in a consulting job.
Aprico Consultants offered me the possibility to put my ambition into practice. I joined Aprico 6 years ago where I was involved in the start-up of the Rational Competence Center. With the acknowledgement of IBM and our customers our team has grown and counts today 7 IBM Rational certified consultants.
Aprico gave me the opportunity to take a leading role in this Rational team. As a team we are now ready for new challenges and we want to further reorient ourselves to a 'full ALM support team' with experience in tools and processes.

Enterprise Architect closing the gap with business strategy
Before joining Aprico Consultants, I worked as Enterprise Architect in the energy, financial and human resources sectors. Some of my assignments: architectural evaluation of an ICT solution in order to settle a dispute between the parties involved, set-up of a methodology for solution architecture and integrating it with the SDLC, architecture documentation of a software package before its introduction on the market, reconciliation of the long-term objectives of a core-business solution with its mid-term objectives (i.e. balancing enterprise and solution architecture).
Aprico Consultants, already very strong in software solution delivery, was looking to strengthen their service offering in enterprise architecture and business analysis. That is where I fit in. As a relatively small company Aprico Consultants is the independent partner that goes the extra mile for its customers. I joined Aprico Consultants in that challenge.
As an Aprico Consultant I was already part of two strategic programs in the public transport sector as solution architect and business analyst. In the mean time I also assist the Aprico sales team with the business development of our enterprise architecture and business analysis offering.
